Recycle of aluminiun cans at VV&VFACT
Len has arranged through Esy Scrap for a recycle bin to be placed at the Centre for aluminium drink cans (memo from Roberta, Vic they have to be empty), Easy Scrap will pay 90 cents per kg for the cans, it may seem a small amount, but the number of drinks consumed at the Centre is humungous, another little fund raiser for the Centre.

Cheap TVs
A number of television sets have been donated to the Federation – make a donation to the VVF, and you can have one.
Be warned – they are analogue TVs, and analogue is being replaced by digital TV within a couple of years.
But we are assured that the addition of a set top box – available for about $100 – will easily take them into the digital age.
They’re medium sized Philips sets in excellent working order, reliably measured by B2 as 53cm.
They will be available through the office from Thursday.
