On the 23rd May is the trip to Goulburn. You will all need to be at the VVF by 8.00am to car Pool. I think most of you have already organised that but Mel will need to know numbers so she can organise Lunch and morning tea. Don’t forget we said we would give the $10 to the Charity of Mel’s choice which is Autism, and there will be a raffle as well which Mel is getting ready. I’m sorry I won’t be there - I was looking forward to it. Vietnam Veterans Federation (ACT Branch) Wives will have our first Craft Day for 2008 on February 22nd at the VVF premises, 3 Burkitt Street, Page, at 10.00am.

We will sort out what we will do for the full year, so bring along your crafts and a plate with food so we can put an agenda together.

Normal raffle as well. Anyone wanting to donate a prize… we will gratefully accept. There will be a small charge for each Craft Day.

I have booked our full dates for the year. They are as follows:

22nd February, 28th March, 18th April, 23rd May, 27th June, 25th July, 22nd August, 26th September, 24th October.

28th November will be Xmas party – will see if you want to do the same as last year.

Lunches For Tuesday 19th February

Looking forward to seeing everyone next week – it seems so long since we have all been together.

We have enjoyed the break and know it is time to get back on track enjoying ourselves.

Please note the Craft day dates above, and I’m also asking for help for our first VVF lunch day, which is Tuesday 19th February. We will need some help from anyone willing.

What I will need is willing hands to either make a desert or salad – or just help on the day would be great.

We have a good group of ladies who have had a good break, and hopefully will be back on deck for this day. If not, just come along to have a chat – we’d like to see all your smiling faces again.

I still have my stress fracture. I’m going to the Specialist on Wednesday so I should know more then.
