Parking at The Stephen King Memorial Centre
Our Office Manager, Karen, has received prior notification of an unannounced parking policy by the ACT Government.
Rangers will be touring Suburbs and booking vehicles parked on nature/ median strips on the basis that the vehicles are compacting the soil surrounding the trees roots.
Members are warned that if they chose to park on the grass at the Centre, any fines are the members responsibility.
A suggestion is that as Burkitt St has heavy traffic, overflow parking for the Centre should be in Mayer St, which is the street to the right of the Centre.
