Vietnam Veterans Federation Inc
The Vietnam Veterans Federation of Australia is dedicated to the
welfare of ALL veterans and their families. We have no other aim. Our
organisation is made up of volunteers who chose to help veterans in
need. If you are a sick veteran, and you suspect your sickness may have
been caused by your war service, we invite you to consult one of our
trained volunteers who man our branches and sub-branches throughout all
States of Australia.
Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia
The "Vietnam Veterans' Association of Australia" website has been
designed with two purposes in mind. The first, to provide information
of special or current interest to Australian Vietnam veterans. The
second, to provide for students of all ages, historical context,
information about Australia's involvement in the war, Australian units,
servicemen and servicewomen.
Australian Peacekeeper and Peacemaker Veterans' As
APPVA is a veteran non-profit profession of arms and services that
encompasses all operations that have involved Australian and New
Zealand Defence Forces Servicemen and Women, Federal and State Police,
Philanthropic Organisations (Everyman�s Welfare Service, Red Cross,
Salvation Army, etc) and Defence Civilians. The Royal Australian Regiment Association The
Royal Australian Regiment Association is a mutual association of past
and present infantry servicemen who have served in, or are currently
serving in, an Infantry Battalion of the Regiment. The RAR Association
was formed in 1969.

Service Holiday Resorts
Throughout Australia and New Zealand (via reciprocal arrangements with
the New Zealand Defence Force) there are a number of service owned
holiday resorts available for use by the Defence Community and their
families. These resorts provide comfortable, low cost accommodation in
a variety of settings. Priority is given to serving military members
and civilian defence staff.

Service Veterans Sports Group
A small group of Service Veterans in Bendigo, Victoria, formerly known
as the Vietnam Veterans Sports Group. We have no affiliation with any
Ex Service Organisations. We came together after attending a couple of
Department of Veteran Affairs programs called the Heart Health Program
and the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program.

The Vietnam Veterans Counselling Service (VVCS) is a specialised, free,
confidential Australia-wide service for Australian veterans and their
families. VVCS staff are professionally qualified with skills in
working with life problems faced by veterans and their families. They
can also provide a wide range of programs and treatment for war and
service-related mental health conditions.
Australian Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health
ACPMH is an internationally recognised centre of excellence at the
University of Melbourne. We specialise in trauma-related research,
policy and program development and training. The Centre helps
organisations, communities and individuals to prevent, recognise and
reduce the adverse mental health effects of trauma. We do this through
world class research, innovative policy development and education.
